Birthday party and friends reunion

Yesterday was such a busy day i never had the time to blog but it was a very special day. Mom worked very hard to arrange a big birthday party with some old family friends and some of my own friends who were free were invited. Normally when we have family parties i know what to expect but because I was the birthday girl it was surprisingly much more fun than i expected. all the guests were people I've known for ages and catching up with them was lovely.


One of my favourite moment was when i was reunited with two of my very close girl friends from my college times who have each been my Skype buddies but separately. They have each kept me company throughout my degree and i have been doing it to them. Its not only talking on Skype but also studying together and just being there for each other, especially since all 3 of us were away from home. But Jyoti and Rukiya both hadn't seen each other since college so i reunited them both and it was amazing having 2 of my closest friends together at my home and knowing they came just for me. it was like college times all over again and we talked for hours along and with the other guests meeting them too. The house was full of beautiful girls of all ages which i had known for years and it was great to see all of them growing and blooming. Even the guys were all having a good time and i was especially happy that even my brother was having fun. i though I was becoming less social since uni started but i guess its just the warm company and being home that made me realise its the company I'm with and that I'm still the same extrovert girl. Not to forget mom decorated the dining table in the most elegant way and it was a feast of her home made delicacies. Everyone took seconds of her food! Dessert was amazing as usual. Before dessert i even had a special birthday moment in front of all the guests and a photoshoot with them all and i felt like a little girl again with all that attention. 

The party was fantastic thanks to mom as always being the perfect hostess and my presents were a bonus. Even one of my old friends drew a picture of me and framed it, i was so touched she made such an effort for me. 
Also i loved my outfit which always makes a girl feel good about herself.
